Huitlacoche
I designed the brand Huitlacoche, a Mexican-themed mug and cup shop. The project included developing the logo, product designs, social media content, and the full online store experience.

The logo
The logo is made up of a custom typeface designed exclusively for the brand, inspired by carved stones and pre-Hispanic symbols. Some of its key characteristics are:
Shape: Square, bold shapes with softened curved corners.
Details: Curved and pointed terminals that create a blend of tradition and modernity.
Perspective: A flat design that ensures a timeless aesthetic.
The color palette centers around a grayish purple tone, chosen to reflect the brand name “Huitlacoche.” The name comes from a delicious edible fungus that grows on corn, whose colors range from black to purple, gray, and white.

Social Media
Typography: Use of a simple typeface that contrasts with the logo.
Color scheme: Bright, vibrant colors that make the products stand out.
Movement: Achieved through simple lines that hide behind the products, combined with a vertical version of the logo.
